Featuring keynote speakers Dr. Toya Jones Frank and James O’Neal Jr., the event brings together nationally recognized voices in mathematics education, equity, and instructional leadership.

Students and families in Southwest Virginia are encouraged to explore the outstanding summer STEM opportunities offered through the SWHEC. Working alongside a network of education, workforce, and community partners, they provides engaging camp experiences that connect STEM learning to real-world careers and future pathways.

CodeVA is offering a variety of professional learning opportunities for educators throughout the summer. Their mission is to empower educators and all individuals who work with students to confidently integrate and teach computer science, helping expand access to high-quality computer science education for every learner.

Rising 5th–12th grade students will have the opportunity to explore coding, web development, and app design while working on projects that address real-world challenges in their communities. These engaging, hands-on experiences help students build technology skills, creativity, and confidence while discovering the power of innovation.
